Lilian Akin, CPDT-KA of Akin Family Dog Training is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer and fellow GHG greyhound adopter. She has over 15 years of experience training dogs and working with shelter dogs. She is currently teaching classes through the Western PA Humane Society and has taught in the past for Animal Friends, and Doggonehappy Pet Services at Duncan Manor Animal Hospital. Lilian also has an in-home behavioral consulting business. She graciously provides free phone consults for all GHG adopters, and is available to hire for one-on-one sessions.

GHG started this column in the Greyhound Gazette, but wanted it to be available at all times to everyone, past and present.
