Would you like to help Going Home Greyhounds in some way but aren't quite sure how to go about it? Besides actually volunteering your time or donating money, there are many ways you can help through item donations. GHG received it's 501C3 tax exempt status in 2002, so you can claim any donations to GHG as deductions.

Office supplies (any and all types!) especially mailing envelopes, copying expenses, stamps, paper, Avery 8161 mailing labels, etc.
Gasoline Gift Certificates
PETsMART, Pet Supplies Plus, PetCo Gift Certificates
Non-skid mats or intact rugs for crates during adoption days or to use during bathing on wet floors
Blankets for use in crates at Tender Touch and in foster homes
Old crates for foster dogs
Old collars and leashes for foster dogs
Items to donate for fundraising (raffle, Chinese auction for picnic, etc.)

Be creative if we can use it, just give us a call (724) 935-6298. Maybe you have some ideas that we haven't thought about!

Thank you in advance for your generosity and help. GHG would not be able to adopt out as many dogs as it does without the contributions we receive from all of you. It also allows us to provide extensive veterinarian care above and beyond the amount covered by the adoption fee (see our memorial fund page for details). Even if you can't make a tangible contribution, just hearing the heartwarming success stories from those of you who have adopted and love your greys energizes all of us! You could never imagine how encouraging it is to know the greyhounds rescued through GHG are in the midst of a great retirement and being taken care of like they so deserve.
