DEBIT

On 12-16 we lost our big beautiful boy. Our lives will never be the same without Deb, and the hole in our hearts feels now like it will never heal. There is no way to measure the happiness, joy and love Debit brought to our lives. He will be sorely missed and never, ever forgotten.

We will always remember the good times: the daily early morning mad stampede to the kitchen for “Breakfast Club” (with his two sisters in tow), or the time he ate an entire pork roast we had defrosting for dinner! We still don’t know how he managed to unwrap it!

Sincere thanks go out to Elaine for her support and friendship while we navigated our way through the horrible disease of bone cancer and to Dr. Nancy Ruffing, whose visits allowed Debit to be treated at home during his illness. With Dr. Ruffing’s compassionate help, Debit was able to pass peacefully at home in the arms of his family.

Because I can't say it any better, I quote humorist Will Rogers:

"If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went."

Debit, I love you and miss you terribly. Like I told you when your time came, if there is something after this life, I will find you and we will be together again. – Dad

Dear Deb: I will miss giving you back scritchies and laughing while you ran in circles and bit your own bum. Thank you for always being such a gentleman to the pizza guy, too. J. Thank you, especially, for taking care of your little sister Wisk and always making her feel safe. I love you, Mommy
