Caress

CARESS (Caress by Design)
6/17/96-1/3/10.

We adopted her July 2000, immediately following her retirement at age 4. There was no having to decide which grey to take home that day. The moment we saw her, it was love at first sight. Of 4 dogs that have lived here (incl another grey), she was the most well-behaved. Unfortunately, this means we will have no "Marley and Me" stories to remember back on. She always listened, and never destroyed anything. She was perfect. We did not own her, but rather, she owned us. She was the Queen of this house, and everything that we did revolved around her. There is no way to express how deep our sadness runs. Our house currently has a younger grey (Dyna...aka Iruska Dynip), whom we adopted 3 yrs ago, and 3 cats. Yet, with 4 animals the house is noticeably empty. She was the special one and will continue to be loved forever. Her mission in life was to love and be loved. She accomplished her mission.
Our thanks will eternally go out to GHG for allowing us to bring Caress into our family.
