Volunteers, you're the heart of GHG, and you deserve to be recognized for your efforts. Without your help we would not have the thriving organization that we do today. The time, talents, and resources you share by helping us at Meet & Greets, fostering new dogs, volunteering at special events and more allows us to continue our mission of finding greyhounds their forever homes.
As with any large, active group, we're also searching for new volunteers. If you've ever thought about pitching in for GHG-whether once a month or once a year-join us at the Volunteer Appreciation & Information Party. Active volunteers, reach out to fellow adopters and invite them to join you for a fun afternoon with your dogs.
You'll have a chance to chat with members of the GHG board, find out about volunteer opportunities and meet fellow volunteers and thier hounds. If you have questions or comments about the GHG volunteer program, make sure to bring those, too. We want your feedback!
Pizza, snacks and soft drinks will be provided, but Please bring a soft blanket or pad for your greyhound(floors are concrete). You may bring your X pen.

Directions to the South Park Home Economics Building:
Take Route 51 to Route 88 South. Take Route 88 South until you reach the park entrance. McDonald's will be on your left: Pasta Too on your right. Take Corrigan Drive into South Park. Follow Corrigan Drive all the way to the end. The South Park Fairgrounds will be on your right. Turn right and immediately on your left will be the County Police Station. Right behind the police station is the Home Ec Building (the front is totally glass).
Parking: Beside the Home Ec building; behind the Home Ec building (involves stairs); across the street in the fairgrounds; beside the police station; across the street from the police station.
