Rick was a return to GHG and needed a new home at the ripe old age of 11. I met him at the Greyhound reunion picnic and immediately fell in love with him. I had just lost my Toby 2 months prior, but I knew I had to adopt Rick. Rick LOVED his toys. He always took a toy out with him to the yard every time he went outside. He was a wonderful companion to me and my other Greyhound, Prince. I was devoted to making everyday the best day for Rick and in return he made everyday special for me. Just like my Toby who had passed, Rick had a way of making me smile and laugh. I miss Rick everyday and think fondly of the year and a half he blessed my life. Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge, I love you Rick.
