On Saturday, January 28th, GHG celebrated our
2,000th ADOPTION!Our Whiz Kid (Flip), now known as Joey took some friends with him to surprise his unsuspecting new family that he was not only going to be a wonderful addition, but his adoption would be a mile marker day for GHG to help celebrate finding homes for 2,000 retired racers since 1995. Joey will be making lots of appearances at upcoming meet and greets and at all our events, so please come say hello!
Attached are some fun pictures we wanted to share with all of you. They start with Joey in the van on the way to meet the Surprise Crew, then posing in the parking lot with his foster mom (Bev) who hand made an amazing special 2000th theme racing coat for him! We continue in the van all together and then share some posed snaps of his surprised new family who had no idea they would be the 2,000th adoption or that we were all coming to their house!
